kids.

Mataya snuggling with Spencer's Curious George while he is at school.
This picture fits her personality so well, wild hair and wild smile!

I was trying to get a good pic of all of them, but they were distracted by the cookies they were eating.
Parker and Spencer have been SO sick this last week. They have each had a fever and cough that lasted for days. They both woke up fine this morning and made it to school. It's so sad to see your kids be so sick.
I love these cute kids of mine and feel so grateful everyday to be their mom!

It's kind of cool when your older brother is also your best friend:)

Jazz Game

Cory and the kids went to a Jazz game last week and got to be in a suite. It was on Wednesday night and I didn't feel good about skipping out on young women's so Cory took the kids by himself. He is really a great dad and loves to have fun with the kids. Mataya has a little pink Boozer jersey. She loves hanging out with the boys:)

They loved the food!

Spencer-ism.

This afternoon I grabbed a kitchen chair for Cory to stand on to hang our clock back up in the family room. (It was down because we painted this weekend....yeah!!) This conversation followed:
Spencer, "Are our home teachers coming?"
Me, "No, we did get new home teachers, but they haven't come to visit yet."
Spencer, "Oh, I really hope our new home teacher is Joseph Smith!"

I hope they call me on a mission.

We started 9:00 church on Sunday and I'm happy to report that we made it out the door on time with smiles on our faces....especially Mataya!
Tonight we had family home evening on missionary work .
I had Cory tell the kids about his mission and he showed them his scrapbook. I made sugar cookies for the kids. Mataya had a regular circle cookie and...The boys had cookies in the shape of a tie. Spencer already took a bite of his before I could snap the picture. They frosted and loaded them with sprinkles before they ate them (of course:).
