Sleeping away during the Hertiage Days parade.
The parade was good this year, but the boys were less than thrilled to be there at times. Right in the beginning one float came by and they were throwing frisbees to people and one came right for Parker and hit him in his top lip. He was okay until he saw that it was bleeding and he came and sat down for a little while. His lip was so swollen and he was crying. Poor kid...he did get the frisbee though:-)
Spencer was just interested in eating the candy.
He got a frisbee too which he was pretty excited about.
After the parade we headed over to the Treehouse Museum. It was a free day so me and the kids went while Cory went to the Temple. A lot has changed there since we last went. They had a bunch of new stuff to see. Parker really liked the Indian stuff inside this big tepee.
There were these horses all over downtown Ogden and each one was painted different. This one was Spencer's favorite. (obviously) We had fun at the museum and then we walked around the temple and looked at the water fountain. We also went over and watched the I Fly which is a simulated sky diving thing. There were a lot of people doing it so it was fun to watch. There was even little kids! It is right next to the gym and Spencer was asking if we could go. We haven't been to the Ogden gym in a long time. They miss playing while I workout. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to workout with 3 kids when I don't want to take Mataya to the gym during the day with me. I'm still afraid that she will get sick. So for now me and the boys go in the evening when Cory is home. I think once Mataya starts sleeping through the night I will have to go in the morning before Cory goes to work. I really hope I have that kind of will power!
